What dogs are the most dangerous?
February 17th, 2010 | by admin |Many dog and animal advocates will deny it, but a look at the statistics shows that pit bulls and rottweilers have been responsible for a majority of dog bite injuries in the United States. According to a report released by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) between 1979 and 1998, pit bulls and rottweilers were involved in roughly 60 percent of fatal dog attacks in the United States.
According to Dogsbite.org, a Seattle-based dog bite victims advocacy group, this trend continues. In 2007, the group estimates that pit bulls and rottweilers were responsible for 71 percent of fatal dog attacks in the United States.
