Swimming is an all around body toner. We always lose weight when we swim It is good for us and our joints. Swimming seems to tone more than build muscles for as anyway. It makes our armes and body fat. Kicking on our back or swimming backstroke can helps build muscles. The only way to built muscles through swimming is to do compartive swimming. And at least a few hundred meters each time. We go for a swim, and every stoke builds different parts of the body. But mostly our arms get bigger because all strokes require a certain amount of arm power. At last if we swim fast, do sprint in sets or do very long distance swimming.
